Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas offered assistance to the Netanyahu government to extinguish the ongoing fires in various locations in Israel. In response to this offer, the Israeli government approved the deployment of 20 personnel and four vehicles from the Palestinian Fire Brigade to the areas affected by the flames.
It has been reported that fires spreading due to strong winds in the forested area between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv in Israel continue at 6 points. In a report by Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper, it was stated that 126 firefighting teams are continuing to intervene in the growing fire due to the strong winds.
APPEAL FOR HELP HAS BEEN MET
Due to the uncontrollable fires, it was noted that 8 firefighting planes from the Greek Cypriot Administration and Italy are expected to arrive during the day in response to Israel's international call for help. The National Jewish Fund reported that a total of 20,000 acres, including 13,000 acres of forested land, have burned.

Immediately after Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu claimed that 18 people were detained on suspicion of arson, it was reported that Israeli police sources informed the press that Netanyahu's claim did not reflect the truth.
