A tradesman dealing with chandeliers, after completing a transaction at an exchange office, parked his truck with license plate 42 AVZ 10 in front of a shop to buy paint. The tradesman left a bag containing money and jewelry worth approximately 1 million liras in the vehicle and went inside; suspects wearing ski masks, who had been following him step by step, first scouted the street with their luxury vehicle.

One of the robbers pulled up to the truck, broke the driver's window, and grabbed the bag full of money within seconds. Although the vehicle owner, who noticed the incident and rushed out of the shop, threw himself in front of the robbers, he barely saved his life. The suspects fled the scene at high speed, driving over the vehicle owner.
