At the center of the case heard at the Istanbul 38th Civil Court of Peace are a rental dispute and breach of contract. The couple Işıl Reçber and Rüştü Reçber claimed in their petition that their tenant İlke Ata Demirağ allowed another person to use the residence in Maslak, Istanbul, in violation of the contract. The Reçber side stated that this situation violated the subletting prohibition in the lease agreement and demanded the immediate eviction of the property.

In the official documents submitted to the court by the site management; it was documented that a "site entry card" had been issued in the name of a woman of Spanish nationality, Ines Montes Cubria, for the apartment as of 18.09.2024.

Responding to the allegations against him, businessman İlke Ata Demirağ categorically denied the claims that he sublet the residence. Demirağ stated that the Spanish woman found to be staying at the house was not a subtenant, but merely his friend.
