Fenerbahçe has added English forward Mason Greenwood to their squad for a transfer fee of 40 million euros and a 2 million euro bonus. The English footballer addressed the fans while wearing the Fenerbahçe jersey.
Fenerbahçe has completed the transfer of English star Mason Greenwood, who has been wearing the Marseille jersey, a move they have long pursued.
GREENWOOD DONS THE JERSEY
Yellow-navy executive Cihan Kamer and football director Oğuz Çetin went to Marseille in recent days to finalize the transfer. After completing the deal, the yellow-navy officials boarded a plane with the player and his family, heading to Manchester. Fenerbahçe's new signing Greenwood wore the yellow-navy jersey for the first time and addressed the fans.

Meanwhile, the amount Fenerbahçe has allocated for this transfer has been revealed. The yellow-navy team will pay French club Marseille a net transfer fee of 40 million euros. The agreement also includes a performance-based bonus clause of 2 million euros.
SIGNING UNTIL 2030
Planning long-term with the 23-year-old talented attacking player, Fenerbahçe will sign a 4-year contract with Greenwood valid until June 2030. The English star is expected to earn an annual net salary of approximately 10 million euros from the yellow-navy team.
SEASON PERFORMANCE
Mason Greenwood impressed with his performance for Olympique Marseille last season. In 45 official matches for the French team, the young star scored 26 goals and provided 11 assists, directly contributing to a total of 37 goals.
