The e-commerce site İşkom AVM, which attracted attention with its discount campaigns, suddenly announced the cessation of its operations. The company's headquarters in Istanbul was also closed. Thousands of customers who had paid for their orders and the companies that provided product supply rushed to the prosecutor's office.

İşkom AVM, which sells various technological devices, had made sales to thousands of new customers with the large discount campaigns it organized in recent months. The company, which did not ensure the delivery of the products, closed its branch in Yenibosna and disappeared without a trace.

While there was great interest in the orders collected from both the Yenibosna branch and the e-commerce site, customers who realized after a while that their products were not delivered to them reached out to the site administrators to inquire about the status of their orders. However, users who could not reach the call center and customer service began to go to the company's branch located in the Bahçelievler district of Istanbul.

THEY HAVE SCAMMED EVERYONE

According to a report by Türkiye Gazetesi, victims who went to the company's branch encountered closed doors. After complaints were made to the prosecutor's office, it was learned that the number of victims had reached thousands, and it was revealed that the company operating under the name İşkom AVM had scammed not only individual users but also its suppliers.

Many suppliers express that they are in a difficult situation due to the non-payment for the goods they provided to the company and that they have been forced to resort to legal means to collect their debts.

BEWARE OF EXCESSIVE DISCOUNTS!

Lawyer Ali Kaya stated that the e-commerce site was established to make a profit, saying, "We have initiated all legal proceedings. The matter is being investigated as a serious fraud case." As new victims join those gathered on social media platforms every day, experts warn that caution should be exercised in discount campaigns to prevent such victimizations.

Experts emphasize that products should only be purchased from sites with proven reliability, and particularly highlight that verifying the site's contact information and reviewing customer comments before making a payment can reduce the likelihood of victimization.
