Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan announced that retirement pensions and Eid al-Adha bonuses will be deposited into accounts between May 17-22. SSK and Bağ-Kur retirees will receive at least 24,000 TL, while civil servant retirees will receive at least 31,772 TL.
The payment schedule that millions of SSK, Bağ-Kur, and civil servant retirees have been eagerly waiting for during Eid al-Adha has been finalized. Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan announced that both salaries and bonuses will be paid to retirees before the holiday.
MINISTER IŞIKHAN GAVE THE DATE
In his statement, Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan announced that retiree pensions and holiday bonuses will be deposited into bank accounts between May 17-22. Thus, retirees will receive double payments before Eid al-Adha.
AT LEAST 24 THOUSAND TL WILL BE DEPOSITED
The retiree holiday bonus, which was increased by 33.33% to 4,000 TL in 2025, will continue to be applied at the same amount in 2026.
As of 2026:
- The minimum retiree pension is 20,000 TL
- The minimum civil servant retiree pension is 27,772 TL.
In this context:
- SSK and Bağ-Kur retirees will receive at least 24,000 TL
- Civil servant retirees will receive at least 31,772 TL.
WHO WILL RECEIVE THE HOLIDAY BONUS?
Those eligible for the holiday bonus include:
- Retirees from SSK, Bağ-Kur, and the Pension Fund
- Those receiving widow and orphan pensions
- Those receiving disability and duty disability pensions
- Those receiving permanent incapacity income
- Martyr relatives and veterans
- Security guards
- Civilians affected by terrorism and their rightful beneficiaries.
PAYMENT SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED
For SSK (4A) retirees, payments will be made according to the last digit of the allocation number.
Allocation number last digit:
- Those ending with 9 will be paid on May 17
- Those ending with 7 will be paid on May 18
- Those ending with 5 will be paid on May 19
- Those ending with 3 will be paid on May 20
- Those ending with 1, 6, and 4 will be paid on May 21
- Those ending with 0, 2, and 8 will be paid on May 22.
Bağ-Kur retirees will receive their payments on May 21-22, while payments under the Pension Fund will be made on May 20.
PAYMENTS WILL ALSO BE MADE TO WIDOWS AND ORPHANS
Citizens receiving widow and orphan pensions will also be paid holiday bonuses according to their share ratios.
Accordingly:
- Those with a 75% share ratio will receive 3,000 TL
- Those with a 50% share ratio will receive 2,000 TL
- Those with a 25% share ratio will receive 1,000 TL bonus.
- Total payment amounts including salaries:
- For 75% share holders, approximately 17,000 TL
- For 50% share holders, approximately 12,000 TL
- For 25% share holders, approximately 6,000 TL.
TOTAL PAYMENT TO REACH 150 BILLION LIRA
The total of Ramadan and Eid al-Adha bonus payments to approximately 17.7 million retirees is expected to reach 150 billion lira this year.
