WHICH TOPICS WILL BE ADDRESSED IN THE MEETING?

According to information obtained from ministry sources, Çiftçi will meet with his Georgian counterpart in the capital Tbilisi.

During the meeting, the logistical and financial structures of organized crime networks abroad, the prevention of drug trafficking, and the steps that can be taken in the joint fight against cross-border crimes will be discussed.

DEVELOPMENT OF COOPERATION MODELS WILL BE EVALUATED

During the contacts, the expansion of the scope of the trilateral mechanism established between Turkey, Greece, and Bulgaria, and the development of similar cooperation models with other neighboring countries will also be evaluated.

Çiftçi and his Georgian counterpart will hold a joint press statement after the meeting.
