Stating that she finds this support for young couples very valuable, Minister Göktaş thanked Mayor Tombaş and expressed her hope that the practice would serve as an example for other municipalities.

Mayor Tombaş used the following expressions in his post: "Wedding halls are free in Sultanbeyli. On the occasion of the Family and Population Decade declared by our President Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, we are happy to have provided free wedding services to approximately 4,000 of our couples so far."
CALL FROM MINISTER GÖKTAŞ TO OTHER MUNICIPALITIES
Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, expressing her satisfaction by quoting Mayor Tombaş's post, emphasized that similar practices should become widespread. Minister Göktaş included the following statements in her post: "I find the support provided by our Sultanbeyli Municipality to our young couples very valuable and convey my thanks to our Mayor Mr. Ali Tombaş. Within the scope of the Family and Population Decade, 190 of our municipalities are currently contributing to the process with similar practices. I hope that more of our municipalities will support our young people in their journey to start a family."
