Minister Işıkhan's statement on the minimum wage: He pointed to the commission.

The Minister of Labor and Social Security, Vedat Işıkhan, made statements regarding the minimum wage to be determined for the new year. Işıkhan stated, "Giving a rate at this stage should not overshadow the will and sensitivity of our Minimum Wage Determination Commission."

Millions are focused on the minimum wage to be determined for the year 2025. The meetings of the Minimum Wage Determination Commission will begin shortly.

STATEMENT FROM THE MINISTER

Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan made a statement regarding the minimum wage at the "Common Futures Award Ceremony" organized by TİSK in Ankara.

Minister Işıkhan stated, "Everyone is looking for the answer to the question of how much the minimum wage will increase. However, the minimum wage is determined by the Minimum Wage Determination Commission. Giving a rate at this stage should not overshadow the will and sensitivity of our Minimum Wage Determination Commission," he said.

Işıkhan added, "The commission members will evaluate the proposals. The commission has a structure that includes all social stakeholders. Our minimum wage will be determined in this way, effective from January 1, 2025. The century of Turkey will be a common work of 85 million. I thank all our entrepreneurs and stakeholders with whom we are building the second century of our country together," he concluded.
