The Ministry of Interior announced that 240 kilograms of drugs were seized in operations conducted in Van. In a statement by the Ministry of Interior, it was noted that operations were carried out within the scope of studies conducted by the General Directorate of Security's Anti-Narcotics Department, in coordination with the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, and by the Van Provincial Police Department's Anti-Narcotics and Intelligence Branch Directorates.
5 SUSPECTS CAUGHT
During the operations, 5 suspects, including 4 foreign nationals, were apprehended, and a total of 240.52 kilograms of drugs were seized, comprising 94.82 kilograms of methamphetamine, 79.1 kilograms of skunk, and 66.6 kilograms of powdered cannabis. The statement said, "We congratulate our heroic police officers, our Department, our Van Provincial Police Department, our Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, and all those who contributed."
