The lifeless body of 70-year-old Nuriye Bölükbaş, who had been missing since Thursday in the Yeniçağa district of Bolu, was found on the shore of Lake Yeniçağa. Bölükbaş's body, found as a result of search efforts by police, gendarmerie, and AFAD teams, was taken to the morgue for an autopsy following the prosecutor's office investigation. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.

Police, gendarmerie, and AFAD teams intensified their search efforts around Lake Yeniçağa, where Bölükbaş was last seen. During the operations, the lake shore was scanned from the ground, while searches were conducted from the air with drones and on the water with Zodiac boats.
LIFELESS BODY FOUND AT THE LAKE SHORE
During the efforts carried out by the teams in the morning hours, Nuriye Bölükbaş's lifeless body was reached at the edge of Lake Yeniçağa.
After the public prosecutor's examination at the scene, Bölükbaş's body was taken to the hospital morgue for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
An investigation has been initiated into the incident.
