MİT Chairman İbrahim Kalın met with young people at the 12th Young Turkey Forum held in Kayseri. During the general discussion session moderated by Dilara Sayan, the problems, solution proposals, and expectations of the youth were directly conveyed to Kalın and Bilal Erdoğan.
National Intelligence Organization (MIT) Director İbrahim Kalın, who came to Kayseri as part of a series of visits and meetings, attended the 12th Young Turkey Forum together with Bilal Erdoğan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the İlim Yayma Foundation.
At the forum held at a hotel in the city under the theme "New Security Architecture in the Age of Hybrid Threats," young people had the opportunity to share their views and suggestions on the agenda directly with officials.
The general discussion session held within the program was moderated by Dilara Sayan. The problem identifications, analyses, and solution proposals discussed in the workshops were conveyed directly to İbrahim Kalın and Bilal Erdoğan by the youth.
Kalın and Erdoğan listened to the evaluations of the youth on various topics and exchanged views with participants throughout the forum.
YOUTH AGENDA ANALYZED
The agenda items, determined according to the results of field research conducted by the Turkey Youth NGOs Platform (TGSP), were addressed in a workshop format. The expectations of young people were evaluated in detail during the sessions carried out in three stages: problem identification, problem analysis, and solution proposals.
The forum concluded with discussions on many topics ranging from security to education, and from social life to youth policies.
KAYSERI GOVERNOR ÇIÇEK THANKS KALIN
Speaking at the program, Kayseri Governor Gökmen Çiçek stated that Turkey maintains its peace and stability despite the crises around it, and thanked President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and MIT Director İbrahim Kalın.
Çiçek also emphasized the importance Bilal Erdoğan attaches to youth-oriented activities and expressed his satisfaction in hosting the Young Turkey Forum.
