The Zero Waste Festival is on its fourth day at Atatürk Airport with events combining energy efficiency, circular economy, technology, and art. It welcomes visitors with workshops for children and youth, concerts, talks, and interactive experience areas. The festival, under the auspices of Emine Erdoğan, will continue until June 7.

The Zero Waste Festival continues to welcome visitors at Atatürk Airport with its comprehensive content ranging from energy efficiency to circular economy, and from technology to art. On the fourth day of the festival, which has seen high participation, awareness activities are being held.

BURAY AND CEZA WILL TAKE THE STAGE

Workshops for children and young people on producing toys and artworks from recycling materials, environment-themed games, competitions, and interactive educational programs are being carried out.

The festival will continue throughout the day with a variety of events and experience areas, including a Burak Onurlu concert for children and adults, talks with ebru artist Hikmet Barutçugil, Hisseden Adam (Kamer Aygün) and Kemal Sayar, and an ebru workshop.

Today, the festival will conclude with various events; on the Türk Telekom main stage, the "Recycled Orchestra of Cateura Concert" will take place, along with performances by Buray and Ceza.

THE FESTIVAL

Under the patronage of Emine Erdoğan, Chair of the United Nations (UN) High-Level Advisory Board on Zero Waste and Honorary Chair of the Zero Waste Foundation, the Zero Waste Festival, realized in collaboration with the Zero Waste Foundation and the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, continues to host visitors at Atatürk Airport until June 7 with its comprehensive content spanning from energy efficiency to circular economy and from technology to art.

The festival brings together cultural, artistic, and scientific events under the theme "Efficiency in Energy, Transformation in the Future."

The festival area features various applications catering to all segments, from children to youth, from families to technology enthusiasts.

At the festival, which boasts a very broad content ranging from renewable energy technologies to AI-supported applications, from recycling workshops to sustainable transportation solutions, participants can analyze their own environmental impact through circular economy practices, waste management systems, and carbon and water footprint measurement areas.

PRESENTATIONS AND EXHIBITIONS AT THE FESTIVAL

In special experience areas prepared with virtual reality technologies, changes in ecosystems and the effects of the climate crisis can be observed interactively.

In the Zero Waste Museum area, presentations questioning production and consumption habits are featured, while exhibitions prepared by harnessing the transformative power of art draw attention to the limitations of resources and invite visitors to adopt a more sustainable lifestyle.

Beyond being an environment-themed event, the festival aims to create social awareness for the efficient use of resources, the dissemination of conscious consumption habits, and the strengthening of environmental responsibility awareness.
