It has emerged that former Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Mustafa Aksu lost approximately 100 million TL in the fund crisis in the capital markets. Aksu, who stated that after transferring his money in the stock market to a liquid fund he could not withdraw his money, emphasized that he came from a wealthy family and voiced his reaction by saying, "I am very uncomfortable, angry, offended; the issue is not the 100 million but having been deceived."

It has emerged that former Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Mustafa Aksu, who served for many years in the Presidency and within the AK Party, was also affected by the fund crisis that has shaken the agenda recently. 

"I ENTERED ON SEPTEMBER 10, I COULDN'T EXIT"

Journalist Barış Terkoğlu wrote about his interview with Aksu following claims being discussed in AK Party corridors. In the interview, Aksu, stating that he transferred his money in the stock market to liquid funds, said that he entered Tera's liquid fund on September 10 but was unable to exit afterwards. Although he did not give a clear figure regarding the amount of money he lost, Aksu confirmed the amount, saying, "I can say it is in the order of 100 million liras."

"MY FINANCIAL ACCUMULATION COMES FROM MY FAMILY"

Responding also to the question about the source of the asset he lost, Aksu said, "My father has been an industrialist for 55 years, is among the top 500, a tax record holder," and stated that his financial accumulation came from his family.

"I AM ANGRY, I HAVE BEEN OFFENDED"

Former Deputy Minister Aksu, stating that he felt deep sorrow for encountering such a situation in his own community, conveyed his reaction with these words: "I am very uncomfortable, angry, offended; the issue is not 100 million but having been deceived."

HE HELD CRITICAL POSITIONS IN THE AK PARTY

Mustafa Aksu, known for his closeness to President Erdoğan since his youth, entered politics in the AK Party in 2003. Aksu, who assumed roles such as AK Party Ankara Provincial Deputy Chair, Head of Economic Affairs, and Head of the Environment and Energy Commission and the Tradesmen Commission, served as Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Forestry during Bekir Pakdemirli's term between 2018 and 2021. Aksu resigned after arguments with Pakdemirli, and this departure caused reactions within the party.
