The leader of the Great Unity Party, Mustafa Destici, reacted to the proposal for a parliamentary commission suggested by MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli for a terrorism-free Turkey. In his statement, Destici said, "If it is claimed that 'there is a Kurdish issue' and this is brought to this Parliament or elsewhere, the matter takes on an inextricable form and dimension."

BBP General Chairman Mustafa Destici stated regarding the proposal of a parliamentary commission suggested by Devlet Bahçeli for a terror-free Turkey, "If it is said in this country that 'There is a Kurdish issue' and this is brought to this Parliament or elsewhere, the matter becomes an unresolvable situation and dimension."

Mustafa Destici, the General Chairman of the Great Unity Party (BBP), held a press conference at the party's headquarters. Responding to Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis's claims of 'Pontus genocide', Destici said, "Turkey will protect its rights and interests by using force when necessary. No one should have any doubt about this. The fact that Greece's response to Turkey's progress is the nonsense of Pontus genocide is merely a summary of their miserable situation."

"WE STAND BEHIND THE PROMISES WE MADE TO OUR MARTYRS"

Destici expressed that 40,000 people have lost their lives in Turkey's fight against terrorism and that the country has lost resources worth 2 trillion dollars, stating, "As the Great Unity Party, we will continue to stand by the conscience of the nation. We have always been on the side of our people's common sense, especially those who have been victimized by PKK terrorism. We are with the spiritual identity of our martyrs, the promises we made to our martyrs and veterans, and we will continue to stand by their families until the end."

REACTION TO BAHÇELİ'S COMMISSION PROPOSAL

Stating that there is not a Kurdish issue but a terrorism issue in Turkey, Destici also reacted to the parliamentary commission proposal suggested by MHP General Chairman Devlet Bahçeli for a terror-free Turkey.

Destici, who said, "If it is said in this country that 'There is a Kurdish issue' and this is brought to this Parliament or elsewhere, the matter becomes an unresolvable situation and dimension," emphasized, "There is no Kurdish issue in this country. There is a terrorism issue, and this issue has been eradicated, its roots have been pulled out, and it has resulted in victory by the heroic security forces of the heroic Republic of Turkey. Therefore, the PKK has surrendered, announced that it will lay down its arms and dissolve itself. We can never accept the 'Kurdish issue' that has been voiced by those who have supported it until today."

CRITICIZED ARAB COUNTRIES THAT MADE DEALS WITH TRUMP

Destici, recalling that Israel's attacks on Gaza continue, criticized Arab countries that made agreements with US President Donald Trump, saying, "Wherever there is a bleeding wound, let us all stand together. If the Arab world and the Islamic world rise up, they cannot commit this oppression, this brutality."
