In the Tarsus district of Mersin, a 16-year-old girl who jumped from a truck for an unknown reason lost her life after being hit by a lorry.
The accident occurred at the entrance of Tarsus on the D-400 highway in Barbaros Neighborhood, Sait Polat Boulevard. According to the allegations, Zeynep Yıldız (16), who was sitting in the back seat of the vehicle driven by İ.H.B., suddenly opened the door and jumped out for an unknown reason while the vehicle was in motion.
A TANKER STRUCK THE YOUNG GIRL
Yıldız, who fell onto the road, was hit by a tanker with the license plate 81 ACK 711, driven by A.O., traveling in the same direction. Police and medical teams were dispatched to the accident site. Medical teams determined that the girl had died at the scene. After the investigation in the area, Yıldız's body was sent to the Forensic Medicine Institution for autopsy. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
