On August 21, in the rural Tavşantepe neighborhood of the Bağlar district in Diyarbakır, 8-year-old Narin Güran went missing, and her body was found in the Eğertutmaz Stream on September 8, 19 days later. Following the investigation initiated by the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding her murder, the lawyers of the parties requested an extension of the investigation. REQUESTS WERE REJECTEDThe defendant Nevzat Bahtiyar's lawyer, Ali Eryılmaz, made a total of 14 requests to the court on November 22. Regarding the Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) enzyme found in the semen and urine detected on Narin Güran's clothes, he requested a scientific opinion from the Department of Endocrinology at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine on whether it is found in males and females, if so, which organ or body system it can be secreted from, and considering that the victim was 8 years old, whether this enzyme could be found in the victim's vagina, as well as at what age the production of this enzyme begins in male and female individuals. Considering the actions that Enes Güran claimed caused the bite marks on his body, he requested an "additional report" to be prepared by the Forensic Medicine Institution's 2nd Specialization Department, stating that a mouth model should be taken and a quantitative analysis should be conducted to determine whether the bite marks belonged to Enes Güran. The Diyarbakır 8th Heavy Criminal Court reviewed the requests on November 29. In its additional decision, the court rejected all requests on the grounds that they would "not add any novelty to the file." "PSA WAS DETECTED ON THE UNDERWEAR"In the report prepared by the Biology Specialization Department of the Diyarbakır Group Presidency of the Ministry of Justice's Forensic Medicine Institution, which was included in the file on September 12, it was reported that Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) was detected in the external swab sample of the underwear, the underwear, a purple skirt, and a headscarf belonging to Narin Güran. BITE MARK ON ENES GÜRAN'S ARMIn his statement to the prosecutor's office, Enes Güran said regarding the bite marks on his arm, "As far as I remember, on the third day after Narin went missing, there were people coming to our house, and everyone in the house started crying. I was very upset at that moment. While crying, I didn't want my father to see me sad, so I covered my arm and cried. At that moment, out of anger, I bit my arm. The bite mark was formed for this reason. My siblings or anyone else definitely did not bite my arm for any reason."
