Another ballistic munitions identified as fired from Iran was neutralized by NATO air and missile defense elements in Turkish airspace. NATO also made its first statement regarding the incident. On the other hand, the Ministry of National Defense emphasized in a statement that the necessary intervention was carried out from the moment the ballistic munitions entered Turkish airspace. It was stated that NATO air and missile defense systems stationed in the Eastern Mediterranean were activated to neutralize the threat.

The statement noted that necessary measures are being taken decisively against all types of threats directed at Turkey's territory and airspace. It was emphasized that developments in the region are being closely monitored with national security as a priority.

4TH MISSILE FIRED FROM IRAN
Additionally, missiles fired from Iran were shot down on March 4 in Hatay and on March 9 in the skies of Gaziantep. Regarding the 3rd missile neutralized on March 13, the Ministry of National Defense stated, "It has been neutralized by NATO air and missile defense elements stationed in the Eastern Mediterranean," without providing location information.
