In the investigation into the disappearance of university student Gülistan Doku, who has been unreachable since January 5, 2020, in Tunceli, chilling details have emerged. Subsequently, in a statement from the Tunceli Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was stated: 'In line with the disappearance of Tunceli Munzur University student Gülistan Doku on January 5, 2020, and the allegations that the process resulted in a murder, following the evaluation of witness, confidential witness, and informant statements, reports, HTS records, and all information and documents obtained through our Chief Public Prosecutor's Office's investigation file number 2020/52, significant findings and evidence have been reached indicating that Gülistan Doku's lifeless body was buried or destroyed in an organized and conscious manner by security guards linked to the suspects. In light of the obtained evidence, on July 21, 2026, simultaneous operations were conducted at identified addresses in Ankara, Elazığ, Istanbul, and Tunceli targeting a total of 5 suspects, including two security guards, deemed connected to the incident, resulting in search and seizure procedures, and all target suspects were captured and detained.
