At the Sunflower Festival in Tekirdağ, rapper Çakal was injured after being shot with an air rifle following his concert. A friend who visited the artist in the hospital stated that the attacker became angry when his request for a photo was refused, went home, drank alcohol, and then opened fire. Çakal, who was hit in the leg by pellets, was taken into surgery, while the attacker, Faik Duran, was arrested.

New details have emerged regarding the armed attack on rapper Emirhan Çakal, who performed in the Hayrabolu district of Tekirdağ. A close friend who visited the famous artist in the hospital described how the assailant acted before the incident and the background of the attack.

"HE NEEDS TO GO ON STAGE, HE'S LATE"

According to a close friend who visited Çakal in the hospital and witnessed the incident, the assailant wanted to take a photo with Çakal. He communicated this request to the team on duty at the festival area. However, the officials stated that Çakal was about to go on stage and was already late, so taking a photo at that moment was not possible.

"HE WENT HOME ANGRILY"

Upon receiving this response, the assailant became extremely angry. It was learned that the suspect left the area and went home, where he consumed alcohol before returning to the concert area with an air gun and opened fire. The pellets hit Çakal's leg, and the artist was injured.

HE WAS ARRESTED

Following the incident, the assailant named Faik Duran was taken into custody. A search of his home revealed the air gun used in the incident along with 67 pellets. Duran was arrested by the court on charges of "intentional injury" and sent to prison.

The first intervention for Çakal was made at Hayrabolu State Hospital, after which he was transferred to a private hospital in Istanbul for surgery. It was reported that the artist's health condition is good and that his treatment is ongoing.
