TAX RATES HAVE CHANGEDAccordingly, the fixed tax rates for goods brought from abroad have changed. With the new regulation, the tax rate for cargoes coming from EU countries will be 30%, while for those coming from outside the EU, it will be 60%. The shopping limit for products coming from abroad by mail or express delivery has been reduced from 150 euros to 30 euros, while the tax on cargoes coming from the European Union (EU) has been increased from 18% to 30%, and from non-EU countries it has been increased from 30% to 60%. If the goods listed in Annex IV of the Special Consumption Tax Law numbered 4760 are present, an additional fixed tax of 20% will be collected in addition to the above rates. If a person brings these products from abroad themselves, they will not be subject to any tariff.
