Operations were carried out by the Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Department (KOM) under the coordination of the Eskişehir Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against FETÖ's current structure and the financing of terrorism. As part of the investigations, it was determined that the Maydonoz Döner chain was operating under a franchise model.
RTB GAME DECRYPTED
It was found that individuals who were being processed due to their connection to FETÖ were given unofficial partnerships for a fee, and that the company did not allow entry into partnerships without showing an organization reference. This system was referred to as Reference-Based Growth, and it was determined that this partnership was entirely based on organizational foundations without any official documents.
In the investigations conducted by KOM teams, it was revealed that Maydonoz Döner branches were used to provide employment and financial support to individuals affiliated with the organization, and that donations were received from these branches. It was also found that unofficial partners conducted transactions through organization-affiliated tradesmen to avoid detection of the money obtained from share sales, and that the company expanded by granting new franchises abroad, thus facilitating money transfers from abroad.
IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE COMPANY WAS ESTABLISHED TO SUPPORT THE ORGANIZATION
Additionally, investigations conducted by the Financial Crimes Investigation Board (MASAK) revealed that the company was financed through individuals with no records of transactions both abroad and domestically, and that this money was invoiced as "product purchases" and sent to organization members. Furthermore, it was found that individuals with arrest warrants and ongoing connections to the organization held organizational meetings at the dealerships, and that instructions were given to distribute the "earned money to affiliated individuals" to increase the loyalty of affiliated individuals to the organization. It was also determined that the company was established to support the organization.
23 SUSPECTS ARRESTED
Simultaneous operations were conducted against suspects identified in Şırnak, Balıkesir, and Bursa provinces centered in Eskişehir by police teams. During the operations, 23 individuals were arrested, and during the searches, 3 pieces of 1 series F 1 US Dollar, a book authored by the FETÖ leader, digital materials, documents, and 80,000 TL seized in the context of financing terrorism were confiscated. Of the 23 individuals arrested during the operations, 9 were released after their interrogations at the police station. 1 woman and 14 individuals were brought to the courthouse to be presented to the court after their health checks.
