In Aksaray, individuals attempting to raid a house over a girl abduction issue confronted the police. When they could not be persuaded and remained agitated, they resisted the police and tried to enter the house, prompting the teams to intervene with pepper spray. The individuals then called the police to file a complaint against the officers.

Citizens claiming that a girl was abducted from the Yenikent district, which is connected to the center of Aksaray, went to the address where they alleged the girl was being held in the Fatin neighborhood. Those attempting to raid the house confronted police teams who arrived at the scene following the complaint.

POLICE INTERVENED WITH TEAR GAS

As the individuals resisted the police, additional teams were requested to the scene, and many police units arrived shortly. While the police teams tried to calm the individuals for a long time, those who did not calm down and attempted to enter the building were forcibly removed. As a last resort, the police teams intervened with tear gas against those who resisted. Despite this, one of the individuals who did not leave the scene called the police to complain about them.

"YOUR FRIENDS ARE BEATING US"

The individual who initially complained about the police, claiming they were gendarmerie, said, "Your gendarmerie has arrived and is using tear gas, we are experiencing a riot, they are beating all of us in Fatih neighborhood. They are raising their hands against women, they are beating women. Your police are causing a riot and beating the victim side with batons. Your friends are beating us," and requested help. While the police teams took extensive security measures at the scene, the individuals were removed from the building, and the teams kept watch at the building for hours.
