In Kağıthane, newlywed Sevil Yengeç D. was found hanging in the living room of her home by her husband. Upon his report, health teams arriving at the scene determined that the young woman had lost her life, while a note reading "Mom, I couldn't be worthy of you" in the house drew attention. The police have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of death.
On Friday, June 12, around 12:30 PM, a suspicious death incident occurred in the Yahya Kemal neighborhood of Kağıthane, Istanbul. According to the information obtained, Sevil Yengeç D. (26), who was newly married, spent the evening at home with her mother and husband, Furkan D. (28). After her mother left, the woman slept.
HE FACED A HORRIBLE SIGHT WHEN HE WENT TO THE LIVING ROOM
When Furkan D. woke up in the morning, he noticed that his wife, Sevil Yengeç D., was not by his side. After calling out and receiving no response, he went to the living room and found his wife motionless. He then alerted the health teams.
"I COULDN'T BE WORTHY OF YOU, MOM"
Health teams arriving at the scene after the report determined that Sevil Yengeç D. had lost her life during their examination. Police teams launched an investigation into the incident. It was learned that Furkan D., who was consulted for his statement, said he saw his wife hanging in the living room, took her down from the rope, and notified the health teams.
Following the examinations at the scene, Sevil Yengeç D.'s body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute Morgue to determine the exact cause of death. During the inspections at the house, police teams found a note saying, 'I couldn't be worthy of you, Mom.'
"WE DIDN'T ARGUE, THERE WAS NO ISSUE BETWEEN US"
It was learned that Furkan D., taken to the police station, was given a statement as a "Person of Knowledge." It was reported that Furkan D. stated in his testimony that there were no problems between him and his wife, that his mother came to their home in the evening, they sat together, then she left, they did not argue with his wife, and finally they went to sleep.
