A fire on a boat in the Karşıyaka district of İzmir resulted in the death of 71-year-old Tamer Gazanfer. The fire is believed to have originated from a gas heater that Gazanfer was using to warm himself.

A fire broke out on a boat at the Bostanlı Fisherman's Shelter in the Karşıyaka district of İzmir. After the fire grew, the flames spread to another boat. Upon notification from the surrounding people, fire, police, and medical teams were dispatched to the area.

IT IS EVALUATED THAT THE FIRE STARTED FROM A GAS HEATER

It was determined that Tamer Gazanfer (71), who was on the boat during the fire, lost his life. Gazanfer's body, who was reported to have lived on the boat, was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institution for autopsy procedures. It is believed that the fire started from the gas heater Gazanfer used to keep warm.
