After the match in which Besiktas lost 1-0 to Alanyaspor, Nihat Kahveci lashed out at the referees on live broadcast. Describing the intervention on Trossard as a 'UFC strike,' Kahveci said, 'If the main referee doesn't see it, if the linesman doesn't see it, if the VAR doesn't call it, then quit this job.'

After the match in which Beşiktaş lost 1-0 away to Alanyaspor in the 2nd week of the Super Lig, Nihat Kahveci reacted harshly to referee Adnan Deniz Kayatepe's decisions. Describing the challenge on Trossard as a "UFC punch," Kahveci went berserk, saying, "If you can't see it, quit this job."

"BEŞİKTAŞ DIDN'T PLAY WELL BUT..."

Evaluating the match on the Kontraspor YouTube channel, Nihat Kahveci also criticized Beşiktaş's performance on the field. Stating that the black-and-whites needed to play better, Kahveci nevertheless said the referee decisions couldn't be ignored. Kahveci said, "Beşiktaş didn't play well today. They didn't play well, but referees, do what's necessary for the situations on the pitch! I beg you!"

"IF YOU DON'T SEE THE UFC PUNCH, QUIT THIS JOB"

Kahveci's main reaction came over the challenge made by Alanyaspor's Aliti on Trossard. Comparing the situation to a "UFC punch," Kahveci lashed out at the referees, saying, "I'm a person who loves UFC. If the central referee doesn't see a UFC slap, a UFC punch in football, if the linesman doesn't see it, if VAR doesn't call it, sorry, but quit this job!" Kahveci also noted that referee performances have been debated for a long time, saying, "This season, man, has started the worst."

"PRESIDENT SERDAL, COME OUT AND SPEAK"

Nihat Kahveci also called on Beşiktaş President Serdal Adalı. Arguing that the management should not stay silent after the incident, Kahveci said, "President Serdal, come out and speak, brother! Beşiktaş fans are waiting right now. After such a situation, come out and speak, my president!"

Reminding that Trossard said "He slapped me" regarding the incident, Kahveci stated that Beşiktaş's management should make a statement against the referee decisions.
