One of Galatasaray's transfer targets, Dutch footballer Noa Lang, arrived in Istanbul and was welcomed by club officials and fans. Lang explained the reasons for choosing Galatasaray and stated that he was impressed by the club's greatness.
Dutch footballer Noa Lang, with whom Galatasaray has been in transfer talks, has arrived in Istanbul. The 26-year-old winger, who came to Atatürk Airport General Aviation Terminal by private jet from Naples, Italy, was welcomed by yellow-red officials and a group of fans.
"I'M HAPPY TO BE HERE"
Responding to questions from the press at the airport, Lang said, "I'm happy to be here. The size of the club and the fans on social media influenced my choice. (Regarding the injury he suffered in the Copenhagen match) There is no problem right now, I'm on my feet, I'm fine. I haven't spoken to any current or former players from Galatasaray. I was aware of Galatasaray." he stated.
Not turning down fans' requests for photos and taking a "triple" with yellow-red football enthusiasts, Lang left the airport in a private vehicle.
Noa Lang, who has played in 27 matches across all competitions this season with Napoli, scored 1 goal. The experienced player, who has also worn the jerseys of Ajax, Twente, Club Brugge, and PSV, has scored 3 goals in 15 matches with the Netherlands National Team.
