One of the two vehicles racing in Eskişehir hit passengers getting off the tram. In the fatal accident, 3 pedestrians lost their lives at the scene, while the suspect Muhammed D., who abandoned his vehicle and fled, along with his companions, was taken into custody.
Mohammed D. and his companions, who hit 3 pedestrians while racing in Eskişehir and disappeared after taking them away from life, were taken into custody.
In the traffic accident that occurred on Selami Vardar Boulevard in the 75th Year Neighborhood of Odunpazarı district, the car with license plate 26 ADU 714, driven by Mohammed D., hit Eray Akyol (21), Ayşegül Seliti (14), and Samiye Saygı (21), who were getting off the tram. All 3 pedestrians lost their lives at the scene of the accident. The vehicle was found abandoned about 1 kilometer away from the accident site.
ACCIDENT OCCURRED WHILE RACING
In the investigations initiated by the teams, it was learned that the car driven by Mohammed D. was racing with another vehicle and that the driver in question entered the tramway to overtake the other car. After the accident, it was determined that Mohammed D. left his own car by the roadside and escaped by getting into another vehicle.
ALL WERE TAKEN INTO CUSTODY ONE BY ONE
The driver, who was determined to be at a house in the 71 Evler Neighborhood by the police, was taken into custody by the Odunpazarı District Police Department teams. Fırat D., Emin D., Volkan Ş., who were in the vehicle driven by Mohammed D., and Sefa A. and Musa Can A., who were in the racing vehicle, were also taken into custody.

Mohammed D., who caused the death of 3 people, was taken to the police station after a health check at Yunus Emre State Hospital.
