After the oath, Trump made critical statements at the podium. Trump stated, "The USA will experience a golden age. Our priority will be to build a proud and wealthy country. Everyone will respect us," he said.

From today, our country will speak of prosperity again, and we will no longer allow anyone to benefit from us," added, "Every day, I will personally make America number one with the Trump administration. Our sovereignty will return, we will rebuild our security, justice will be real again, and the unjust disarmament of the Department of Justice will come to an end. Our first priority will always be to be a proud, prosperous, and free country. America will soon be a stronger, bigger, and more extraordinary country than ever before.
