KAYNARCA AND MÜFTÜOĞLU'S TEST RESULT IS NEGATIVE As part of the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office's Smuggling, Narcotics, and Economic Crimes Investigation Bureau, actor Oktay Kaynarca and singer Emel Müftüoğlu, who were released under judicial control measures such as a "travel ban," had their drug test results revealed. Both individuals tested negative.
KAYNARCA: I HAVE PROVEN MY WORD "MY FOREHEAD IS OPEN, MY HEAD IS HELD HIGH" In his first statement, Oktay Kaynarca, who said, "My forehead is open, my head is held high," has made a new statement. Kaynarca used the following expressions: "Throughout my life, I have tried to live according to the principles I learned from my elders, as a legacy. Dignity, honor, conscience, compassion have been the unchanging concepts of my life journey. This unpleasant accusation that everyone has witnessed recently has been cleared by this report, and I have proven my promise that 'don't worry, my forehead is open, my head is held high.'
The proof of the saying "there is a good in every bad" was the unconditional support I received from millions of people, both domestically and internationally, since the first day, apart from my close ones. This has been very honorable for me and a great motivation for the rest of my life. I have once again received the reward of having accumulated people throughout my life. Having you, millions of conscientious people, who made me experience this pride, is the greatest reward for me. I consider it my duty to thank each of you individually; may you forgive me. Let there be no doubt that my support for the drug operation conducted by the state will continue until the end. With love and respect."
On the other hand, Oktay Kaynarca stated in his testimony that he is against banned substances such as drugs.
Kaynarca mentioned that he is close friends with Murat Gülibrahimoğlu, one of the fugitives in the "Imamoğlu organized crime" case. He claimed that he does not accept the statements made about him by suspect Rabia Karaca, stating that he does not know her and did not facilitate prostitution, saying, "I received $100,000 from Murat Gülibrahimoğlu for a promotional film, and later returned the money because the project did not materialize. Filming related to the project was done, but it did not come to fruition."
MÜFTÜOĞLU: I PARTIALLY ACCEPT THE GAMBLING ALLEGATION Suspect Emel Müftüoğlu stated in her testimony that she did not use drugs and mentioned that she knows Fatih Keleş, Tuncay Yılmaz, and Hüseyin Köksal, who are defendants in the "Imamoğlu organized crime" case, along with Gülibrahimoğlu.
Müftüoğlu stated the following in her testimony: "I go to Cyprus twice a year with a person named Hüseyin Köksal (only in December). I did not receive cash from him. I did not facilitate prostitution. I partially accept the statement made by Rabia Karaca that 'Murat Gülibrahimoğlu and Emel are close friends. I witnessed that Murat gave Emel gambling money many times. Gambling is secretly played in a restaurant in Riva. Emel Müftüoğlu sets up a table and runs the gambling.'
"I DID NOT RECEIVE MONEY IN EXCHANGE FOR INTRODUCING ANYONE" Murat is a close friend of mine; he does not gamble. The place in Riva is a barbecue place. I played games there. I do not accept the statement made by Selen Görgüzel that 'Emel Müftüoğlu took a casino chip from Murat because I went on vacation.' I did not receive money in exchange for introducing anyone. I do not accept the statement made by Selen Görgüzel that 'Emel Müftüoğlu may have made money through me.' I did not facilitate prostitution for anyone and did not receive money. This will be revealed when my phone is examined in detail. I want to reiterate that I did not board this plane."
