AK Party Spokesperson Ömer Çelik made harsh criticisms of the opposition in his statements after the Central Executive Board meeting. Referring to Özgür Özel's call for a by-election and his recent statements, Çelik described the opposition's agenda as disconnected from the realities of the world and Turkey, stating that if elections were held, the CHP would suffer a heavy defeat.

AK Party Spokesperson Ömer Çelik made harsh criticisms towards the CHP administration in his statements following the party's Central Executive Board (MYK) meeting. Çelik specifically targeted the recent statements of CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, questioning the opposition's style of politics.

“CHP'S AGENDA IS DISCONNECTED FROM THE REALITIES OF TURKEY AND THE WORLD"

Referring to Özgür Özel's call for a snap election, Çelik pointed out the current situation in Turkey and the world, arguing that the agenda created by the CHP is far from this reality.

Çelik suggested that the CHP has failed to maintain unity within itself, stating that the party leadership has been inadequate in political production and has not been able to adopt an effective stance in the face of public allegations.

Criticizing the CHP's understanding of politics, Çelik claimed that the opposition has focused on internal debates instead of fundamental issues, saying, "Look at the current situation in the world. Look at the agenda that the CHP is trying to create within this context."

“IF THERE WERE AN ELECTION, THEY WOULD FACE A HEAVY DEFEAT”

Çelik stated that the current CHP administration has not found support among voters, saying they would face a heavy defeat in a possible election.

Çelik suggested that the CHP interprets the fundamental values of the republic and democratic rules according to its political needs, arguing that this approach is a habit that has persisted in Turkish politics. He stated: "The rules of how elections will be conducted, the foundations of democracy, and the principles of the republic are clear. They have exploited the fundamental values of the republic for political interests by creating false regime crises. If there were an election, this CHP administration would face a heavy defeat. I say their eraser runs out before their pencil. I take back that statement; they don't even have a pencil, they only use an eraser."

“CHP'S BIGGEST PROBLEM IS ITS OWN MANAGEMENT”

In his statement, Çelik also addressed the internal structure of the CHP, stating that the biggest problem of the party is its current management approach.

Çelik suggested that the issues the CHP brings to the agenda are more about managing its internal problems than about the government, expressing that the discussions presented by the opposition should be evaluated within this framework.

CRITICISM OF POLITICAL LANGUAGE AND STYLE

Çelik criticized the language used by CHP Chairman Özgür Özel in his statements, emphasizing that the style used in the political institution should be more careful.

Çelik stated that it is important to remain within the framework of democratic discussion and pointed out the significance of making mutual statements within the context of political courtesy.
