STONES AND STICKS SPOKE IN LAND DISPUTE
The incident occurred last evening in the Dörtyol Mosque area of Merzan Neighborhood. After the henna night held in the neighborhood, a debate broke out between two neighboring families over a land dispute. The argument quickly turned into a fight with stones and sticks.
GROOM BEATEN BEFORE WEDDING
In the fight, the groom Haşim Çiftçi, whose wedding was planned for today, and his relatives Necip Çiftçi (37) and Yusuf Çiftçi (26) were injured. Upon notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. The injured were taken to Hakkari State Hospital by ambulances and treated. The groom and his 2 relatives were discharged this morning after their treatment.
Police teams launched efforts to apprehend those involved in the fight.
