THEY MOVED AWAY FROM THE SHORE AND STARTED STRUGGLING
The incident occurred in the evening hours at a public beach on Yelkenkaya Street in Piri Reis Neighborhood, Darıca. Ali S. and his brother T.S., after moving away from the shore, began to struggle. Upon reports from those who saw the two siblings struggling, health, police, and coast guard teams were dispatched to the scene.
THE CHILD DETERMINED TO HAVE SWALLOWED WATER WAS TAKEN TO HOSPITAL
Lifeguards also intervened in the siblings' situation. It was determined that Ali S., who was brought out by the teams, had died. T.S., who was found to have swallowed water, was taken to the hospital by ambulance. Ali S.'s body was taken to the morgue after examination.
