The leader of the Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen, Abdulmalik al-Houthi, reiterated Tehran's open support following the attacks by the US and Israel against Iran.
"WE WILL ACT IN SOLIDARITY WITH IRAN" In a speech broadcast on the Houthi-owned Al-Masirah television, Houthi described the attacks on Iran as "US-Israeli aggression," stating that solidarity is beneficial for the Islamic world. Houthi, who characterized Iran's stance as "strong and resolute" and stated that Tehran is engaged in a struggle against the US and Israel, said, "We will act in solidarity with Iran following the attacks by the US and Israel."
"TARGETING US BASES IS A LEGITIMATE RIGHT" Stating that they are prepared for any developments, Houthi said that targeting US bases in the region is a "legitimate right" and that it does not mean directly targeting those countries. The Houthi leader also called for large-scale demonstrations across Yemen, particularly in the capital Sana, in support of Iran.
