In an operation centered in Istanbul and conducted across 14 provinces targeting the clandestine structure of the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETÖ) within the police, 16 suspects were detained. It was revealed that the suspects had accounts at Bank Asya and that they had established connections with operational lines used by individuals within FETÖ's clandestine police structure between 2012 and 2014.

The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office's Terror Crimes Investigation Bureau has identified 18 suspects in investigations against FETÖ/PDY, based on confessions from informants claiming they are members of the organization, findings of sequential phone calls as a method of secret communication, and data records found in an SD card obtained from a secret informant codenamed "waiter".

THEY HAVE ACCOUNTS IN BANK ASYA

In the investigation, it was determined that the suspects with accounts in Bank Asya had established contact with operational lines used by individuals involved in FETÖ's security secret structure during their time as students at the Arnavutköy Police Vocational Training Center and Şükrü Balcı Police Vocational School between 2012-2014.

ARREST WARRANT FOR 14 POLICE PERSONNEL

As part of the investigation, an arrest warrant was issued for one public servant and 14 police personnel, including 11 active and 3 dismissed, who were understood to have been involved in the security secret structure, responsible for police school students and police officers.

In response, law enforcement agencies launched a simultaneous operation in Istanbul, Ankara, Antalya, Ardahan, Bartın, Bursa, Düzce, Hatay, İzmir, Kilis, Mersin, Mardin, Osmaniye, and Tekirdağ, capturing 16 suspects. It was determined that 2 of the suspects were abroad.
