As part of the investigation initiated by the Anadolu Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, an operation targeting the criminal organization led by Mazlum Demir resulted in the detention of 20 individuals.
An operation was carried out against a criminal organization reportedly operating on the Asian side of Istanbul, led by Mazlum Demir, who is abroad. In the operation, 20 suspects were detained.
MAZLUM DEMİR IS A FUGITIVE ABROAD
An investigation was initiated by the Anadolu Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into the criminal organization led by Mazlum Demir, who is a fugitive abroad and operating on the Asian side of Istanbul. Within the scope of the investigation, it was determined that the suspects were involved in 7 actions, including 'establishing an organization for the purpose of committing a crime', 'shooting at a workplace for robbery purposes', 'armed threats', 'violating Law No. 6136', 'deliberately endangering public safety', 'damaging property', 'bribery', and 'illegally assuming a public duty'.
20 SUSPECTS CAPTURED
An operation was conducted against 23 suspects as part of the investigation. While 20 suspects were captured, it was determined that 3 suspects were fugitives. A pistol was seized during the operation.
