SEARCHES CONDUCTED AT 3 AUTO SPARE PARTS SHOPS
In a study coordinated by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and carried out by Ankara Police Department teams, it was determined that the identities of vehicles under lien, with arrest warrants, and smuggled vehicles were changed using the 'change' method. Within the scope of the investigation, searches were conducted at 3 auto spare parts shops located in the Ankara Auto Industry Site.
3 SUSPECTS DETAINED
During the searches, 4 engines and 2 cut vehicles, which were determined to have had their chassis numbers erased, were unidentified, had arrest warrants, and originated from abroad, were seized. In the operation, 3 suspects were detained. The seized engines and vehicles will be sent to the laboratory for criminal examination.
