The donated organs of 19-year-old Mustafa Yalçın, who suffered brain death as a result of a motorcycle accident in Amasya, became a hope for 6 patients awaiting transplants in Ankara, Istanbul, Samsun, and Trabzon.

The organs donated by a 19-year-old, who was declared brain dead in Amasya, brought hope to 6 patients awaiting transplant.

Mustafa Yalçın, 19, was brought to Amasya University Sabuncuoğlu Şerefedin Training and Research Hospital with serious injuries following a motorcycle accident last Sunday. Despite all interventions, he was declared brain dead. After discussions with hospital officials, his family consented to organ donation.

EMOTIONAL MOMENTS WERE EXPERIENCED

After an operation lasting approximately 3 hours, the extracted organs were sent to patients awaiting transplant with hope in Ankara, Istanbul, Samsun, and Trabzon. The doctors who performed the transplant operation thanked the young man's family and friends for their sensitivity. Emotional moments were experienced at that time.

THE UNFORTUNATE YOUNG MAN WAS BIDDED FAREWELL

Mustafa Yalçın, whose body was handed over to his family, was bid farewell after a funeral ceremony held in Ziyaret township. Amasya Governor Önder Bakan, who attended the ceremony, offered his condolences to the young man's family.
