Our National Football Team faced North Macedonia as part of their preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The Crescent-Stars won the match played at Chobani Stadium with a score of 4-0.
CAN'S SHOT HITS THE CROSSBAR
In the 1st minute, the national team came close to a goal. From Orkun Kökçü's pass near the opponent's penalty area, Can Uzun met the ball at the left diagonal of the penalty area and took a shot, but the ball bounced back from the crossbar onto the field.
ORKUN KÖKÇÜ OPENS THE SCORING
In the 2nd minute, the Crescent-Stars took a 1-0 lead. In an attack developing from the right side, Oğuz Aydın reached the byline and sent the ball low across the goal. Orkun Kökçü struck it hard on the volley in front of the six-yard box, and the ball went into the net.
WE INCREASE THE LEAD TO TWO
In the 16th minute, Turkey made the score 2-0. In a fast attack from the midfield, Can Uzun passed the ball to Eren Elmalı, who was overlapping from the left. Barış Alper met the ball to the right of the penalty spot and scored with a single touch, sending the ball into the net.
