Our national team, which lost 3-1 to Montenegro, has left its chance to rise to League A to the playoffs.

Our national football team faced Montenegro away in the 6th and final match of Group 4 in the UEFA Nations League B. The crescent-starred team, which would directly rise to League A if they won, lost 3-1 to their opponent, leaving their chance of promotion to the upper league to the play-offs.

MONTENEGRO BROKE THE BALANCE

Montenegro took the lead in the 29th minute of the match, which had been tied 0-0 for a long time. Krstovic scored to put them ahead. Tuci connected with Nikola Krstovic, who made a run behind the defense on the right flank with a long pass. The 24-year-old forward scored his and his team's third goal with a header from the penalty spot after Gasevic's cross from the left flank. This goal determined the final score of the match.

LEAGUE A REMAINS IN THE PLAY-OFFS

With this result, Turkey finished the group in second place with 11 points, entering the final week as the leader of Group 4. The leader of the group was Wales, who defeated Iceland 4-1 at home, raising their points to 12 and directly promoted to League A.
