THE SENTENCE WILL BE SERVED IN A 45-DAY PERIOD
According to the court's decision, Ozan Güven will spend the 45-day portion of his sentence, which is outside the probation period, in an open prison. After the justification of the decision is communicated to the actor, Güven will surrender to the prison.
THE CASE STARTED IN 2020
In the case opened against Ozan Güven for allegedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend Deniz Bulutsuz in June 2020, the famous actor was sentenced to 2 years and 3 months in prison for the crime of "intentional injury with a weapon." Güven was acquitted of the charges of "insult" and "deprivation of liberty," and the court did not decide to postpone the sentence.
BULUTSUZ WAS ACQUITTED
In the same case, Deniz Bulutsuz was acquitted of the charge of "simple injury." Following the parties' appeals, the file was reviewed by the 20th Criminal Chamber of the Istanbul Regional Court of Appeal.
THE APPEAL COURT UPHELD THE DECISION
As a result of the review, the appeals were rejected, and the ruling of the Istanbul 58th Criminal Court of First Instance was finalized. Thus, Ozan Güven's prison sentence will be enforced, and the famous actor will complete his 45-day period in an open prison.
