Özgür Gökçe, brother of restaurant chain owner Nusret Gökçe, was arrested on charges of 'facilitating child prostitution' as part of an investigation led by the Küçükçekmece Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
Within the scope of the investigation conducted by the Küçükçekmece Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, Terrorism and Organized Crimes Investigation Bureau, it was stated that during the operation on 30/01/2026 against suspects identified as facilitating prostitution and providing venues, an examination of the suspects' phones revealed contacts who procured customers for prostitution activities and bank accounts where proceeds from prostitution were collected.
7 PEOPLE ARRESTED
In the prosecutor's office statement, it was noted that based on new evidence and findings obtained during the investigation, in a second operation conducted on April 17, 7 suspects identified as facilitating prostitution were arrested, while judicial control measures were imposed on 6 suspects.
NUSRET GÖKÇE'S BROTHER SENT TO PRISON
As part of the ongoing investigation, regarding Özgür Gökçe, who was identified as facilitating prostitution acts, a detention order was issued on April 24 by the Küçükçekmece Chief Public Prosecutor's Office on charges of facilitating child prostitution under Article 227/1 of the Turkish Penal Code. It was stated that suspect Özgür Gökçe, whose statement was taken on 27/04/2026, was referred to the Criminal Judgeship of Peace for arrest and was arrested and sent to prison.
