After the death of Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ferdi Zeyrek, CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, who made a statement in front of the cameras, could not hold back his tears.
Ferdi Zeyrek, the Mayor of Manisa Metropolitan Municipality, was severely injured after being electrocuted and lost his three-day battle for life.
Zeyrek's death plunged his loved ones and the people of Manisa into mourning; the crowd waiting in front of the hospital was overwhelmed with tears upon receiving the news of his death.

We are pleased with President Ferdi; he brought us the greatest joys of our lives. He loved all of you very much. We all loved him very much. May our heads be held high. "I LOST HALF OF MY HEART"
Özel also stated, "I have lost half of my mind and heart. We lost a travel companion with whom we dreamed together, a political companion, and more than that, a childhood and youth friend."
WHAT HAPPENED?
Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ferdi Zeyrek was electrocuted while trying to fix a malfunction in the machinery room of the pool at his home a few days ago. Zeyrek, who was severely injured, was taken to the hospital.
An investigation has been launched regarding the incident that led to Zeyrek's death, and 12 people have been called in for informational statements, while the statements of 2 individuals have been taken as suspects. Additionally, it was reported that 3 prosecutors have been assigned to the investigation.
