Recently, there has been a surge in poisoning cases, and a piece of bad news has also come from Tekirdağ. During an event held at Oktay Sinanoğlu Anatolian High School in the Kapaklı district for 'November 24 Teachers' Day', 5 students who ate food brought from home were taken to the hospital with suspected poisoning.
In Turkey, there has been a significant increase in poisoning cases recently. In the past few days, dozens of people who fell ill after eating in dormitories and prisons were hospitalized, while a distressing news also came from Tekirdağ.
On November 24, Teacher's Day, a food event was organized for the 9th grade at Kapaklı Oktay Sinanoğlu Anatolian High School. The meals, including pastries, desserts, salads, and pasta prepared at the students' homes, were consumed by the students themselves.
NAUSEA AND WEAKNESS
After the event, it was reported that some students began to experience complaints of nausea, dizziness, and weakness. Upon being informed of the situation, the school administration called the 112 Emergency Call Center.
INVESTIGATION INITIATED
Health teams that arrived at the school transported 5 students showing signs of poisoning to Kapaklı and Çerkezköy State Hospitals by ambulances. The students were discharged after receiving treatment. An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
