We have seen the struggles of all healthcare workers, from their teachers to doctors, during the pandemic and the earthquakes on February 6. "CITY HOSPITALS HAVE SAVED THE LIVES OF THOUSANDS OF OUR PEOPLE"
I want to emphasize that the efforts you have shown in difficult times will always be appreciated by our nation. The impact of Başakşehir Çam and Sakura Hospital, where we manage the fight against the pandemic better than countries with better resources, including America and Europe, has been significant. These hospitals, which the opposition in our country has tried every way to obstruct, have been instrumental in saving the lives of thousands of our people.

Even though we have overcome the pandemic, we continue to experience its negative consequences. There has been an increase in the health needs of society after the pandemic. We are taking different steps to resolve this system, which has created an additional burden on our healthcare services for the past two years.
"CONSTRUCTION OF 15 CITY HOSPITALS IS CONTINUING"
With our doctors also embracing our efforts, we will ensure that our people reach effective treatment in the right place and in the right way, and hopefully reduce the number of patients. In 22 years, we have signed many reforms in the health sector with an understanding that centers on people and values human life and health. We have done a lot in a wide range of areas, from increasing the number of hospitals, polyclinics, and health centers to bringing unique projects like city hospitals into the health sector. With the home healthcare services we implemented for the first time during our term, we are bringing healthcare services to 2 million 753 thousand people today.
"WE WILL APPOINT 37,000 HEALTHCARE PERSONNEL"
25 of our city hospitals have started operations. The construction of 15 of our city hospitals is still ongoing. When all are completed, we will have a total of 45 city hospitals with a capacity of 57,000 beds. If we were to start explaining the revolutions we have made in healthcare one by one, we would not only have iftar but also sahur here. In 2025, we will further strengthen our healthcare organization with 37,000 new non-physician personnel that we will employ."
