President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and MHP leader Devlet Bahceli visited the Ahlat Seljuk Cemetery in Bitlis. Erdogan and Bahceli posed side by side in the Seljuk Cemetery, creating a historic photo.

Following the programs attended by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Cabinet will convene at the Presidential Complex in Ahlat, a site of historical and symbolic significance. Before the meeting, President Erdogan and MHP Chairman Devlet Bahceli visited the historic Ahlat Seljuk Cemetery in Bitlis together, delivering an important message. 

THE CABINET'S TOP AGENDA ITEM... 

The most critical topic of the meeting is the latest stage reached in the fight against terrorism. Following the historic regulation adopted in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, the processes of the terrorist organization's dissolution and disarmament will be evaluated in detail in line with the latest field data. Additionally, steps to strengthen the domestic front in line with the goal of a "Terror-Free Turkey" and the cross-border security concept will be elaborated on.

DIPLOMATIC CRISES ALSO ON THE TABLE 

The escalating military and diplomatic crises in the Middle East will also feature prominently at the summit in Ahlat:

  • Israeli and US Attacks: Israel's attacks on regional countries and the US moves against Iranian targets will be assessed.
  • Strait of Hormuz Tension: The tension in the Strait of Hormuz, which threatens global trade and energy transmission lines, and Turkey's mediation/diplomacy efforts will be discussed.

LATEST ECONOMIC SITUATION AND THE FIGHT AGAINST INFLATION

On the domestic agenda, the course of the economy will be laid on the table. The progress made in the fight against inflation within the framework of the Medium-Term Program (MTP), market inspections, and new steps to increase citizens' purchasing power will be thoroughly discussed at the Presidential Complex in Ahlat. Following the meeting, President Erdogan is expected to deliver a National Address speech.
