Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev paid an official visit to Türkiye at the invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. At the ceremony held at the Presidential Complex, Tokayev was welcomed with a 21-gun salute and the national anthems of the two countries.

PRESIDENT ERDOĞAN WELCOMED TOKAYEV AT THE DOOR OF THE COMPLEX
Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev paid an official visit to Türkiye upon the invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Within the scope of the visit in Ankara, an official welcoming ceremony was held for Tokayev at the Presidential Complex. President Erdoğan welcomed his Kazakh counterpart at the main entrance door of the Complex. After the welcome, the two leaders proceeded to the ceremony area and took their places in the section prepared for them.
WELCOMED WITH A 21-GUN SALUTE
A welcoming protocol in line with the diplomatic relations between the two countries was implemented at the official ceremony. After President Erdoğan and Tokayev took their places in the ceremony area, the national anthems of Türkiye and Kazakhstan were played accompanied by a 21-gun salute. The flags of the two countries were present at the ceremony, and a military welcome was also carried out.
TOKAYEV'S TURKISH GREETING: 'HELLO SOLDIER'
One of the striking moments of the welcoming ceremony was Kazakhstan President Tokayev's salute to the military unit. While passing in front of the Guard Regiment Ceremonial Company, Tokayev greeted the soldiers with the words 'Hello Soldier'. During the official ceremony, flags and soldiers representing the 16 Turkish states established in history were also present.
