President Erdogan in Kazakhstan! Greeted with an official ceremony

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan went to Kazakhstan for the Turkey-Kazakhstan High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council Meeting and the Organization of Turkic States Summit. Erdogan was greeted by children with the slogan "Welcome to the ancestral homeland." He was officially welcomed by Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev with a ceremony.

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan went to Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, to attend the Turkey-Kazakhstan High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council Meeting and the Informal Summit of the Organization of Turkic States.

President Erdogan's plane was escorted by fighter jets as it landed at Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport. Two helicopters flying over the airport were seen carrying Turkish and Kazakh flags.

Erdogan, who disembarked from the plane with his wife Emine Erdogan at the VIP lounge of the airport, was welcomed by Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Turkey's Ambassador to Astana Mustafa Kapucu, and other officials.

CHILDREN WELCOME WITH "WELCOME TO THE ANCESTRAL HOMELAND"

President Erdogan, who disembarked from the plane with his wife Emine Erdogan, was greeted with affection by children carrying Turkish and Kazakh flags in the VIP lounge. The children shouted slogans of "Welcome to the ancestral homeland" to Erdogan, who replied, "We are glad to be here."

The song "Dombra" was performed by a children's choir in the VIP lounge. Erdogan then took a commemorative photo with the children.

President Erdogan held a brief meeting with Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev at the airport. It was reported that Erdogan, who was later welcomed with an official ceremony at the Independence Palace, would continue his engagements there.
