High-level appointments in economic management were published in the Official Gazette with the signature of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Accordingly, Yusuf Emre Akgündüz was appointed as the Deputy Governor of the Central Bank. Mehmet Arabacı, Deputy Head of the Revenue Administration, was appointed as the Head of TÜİK, and Mahmut Sütcü was appointed as the Head of the Capital Markets Board.
Senior appointments in the economic administration have been published in the Official Gazette.
Within the scope of decisions signed by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, senior appointments were made at the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT), the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat), and the Capital Markets Board (CMB).
HEADS OF TURKSTAT AND CMB CHANGED
Accordingly, Mahmut Sütçü was appointed as the Head of the CMB. Sütçü was serving as the Deputy Head of the CMB. Ahmet Aksu was appointed as the Deputy Head of the CMB, while Yusuf Sünbül was appointed as a member. The new position of former CMB Head İbrahim Ömer Gönül became the Head of the Public Oversight, Accounting and Auditing Standards Authority.
Mehmet Arabacı, Deputy Head of the Revenue Administration, was appointed as the Head of TurkStat.
NEW DEPUTY GOVERNOR FOR THE CENTRAL BANK
A new appointment was also made for the Central Bank. Yusuf Emre Akgündüz was appointed as the Deputy Governor.
Meanwhile, Hızır Aslıyüksek was appointed as the Head of the Forensic Medicine Institution, and Ahmet Alemdar was appointed as the Deputy Head of the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities. Mehmet Avcı, the General Director of Procurement Services at the Ministry of National Defense, was dismissed, and Zikrullah Doğan, the District Governor of Diyarbakır Çınar, was appointed in his place.
