In his speech at the opening ceremony of Medistate Çekmeköy Hospital, President Erdoğan stated, "The progress our hospitals have made in 23 years is truly remarkable. We have a healthcare system that many countries come to study and adapt, and our citizens express their satisfaction at every opportunity."

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made statements at the opening ceremony of Medistate Çekmeköy Hospital in Istanbul. Praising the work done in the health sector, Erdoğan noted that many countries have come to examine the existing system to adapt it for themselves.

“Look, our principle regarding health matters is this: Every individual of our nation is a first-class citizen. Therefore, they deserve first-class service in every area, especially in health,” Erdoğan said. “I say this without making a distinction between state, university, or private; the progress our hospitals have made in 23 years is truly dazzling. We have a health system that many countries have come to examine to adapt for themselves, and our citizens express their satisfaction at every opportunity. God willing, we will strengthen this; we will develop it according to the demands, suggestions, observations, and criticisms from our citizens, and we will take it to much better levels. We will do this together, both public and private.”
